multi-source playback

MultiViewSync

Paste in a few YouTube links, nudge each one's offset until the audio cues line up, then share the synced link. Built for multi-angle footage — races, panels, multiplayer POVs.

When "Autoplay on open" is on, anyone who opens the generated link gets every video synced and playing automatically (muted, to satisfy browser autoplay rules) — they just tap "audio" on a tile to hear it.

No videos yet — add a YouTube link above to start a sync group.

About MultiViewSync

What is MultiViewSync?

MultiViewSync is a lightweight, browser-only tool for lining up several YouTube videos to the same moment in time. It grew out of a simple problem: when an event is filmed from more than one angle — a race with cameras at different points on the track, a panel with each speaker's own recording, or several players' streams of the same match — there was no easy way to watch them side by side, in step, without downloading and editing them together.

How do I line videos up?

Add each video, then use the offset buttons to shift one relative to the others until a shared sound or visual cue happens at the same instant on every tile — a starting gun, a word spoken into several microphones, anything with a distinct moment. The solo-audio button isolates one video's sound at a time so you can match that cue by ear before playing the group together.

Why use it instead of editing the footage together?

Editing multiple angles into one file takes real time and re-uploading rights you may not have. This tool keeps every video on YouTube, under its original owner, and simply plays them together in your browser — nothing is downloaded, re-hosted, or modified.

Who is this for?

Anyone comparing multiple recordings of one event: race organizers, esports viewers watching several players' points of view, conference attendees with recordings from more than one seat, or hobbyists syncing reaction videos.

Frequently Asked Questions

MultiViewSync is a browser tool for watching several YouTube videos at the same time, lined up to the same moment. It's built for anything filmed from more than one angle — races, panel discussions, or several players' points of view in the same match.
No. There's no sign-up and no login. You paste in video links, adjust the offsets, and either watch directly or generate a link to share.
Offsets are adjustable in half-second steps, and you can fine-tune further by ear using the solo-audio button, which isolates one video's sound at a time so you can match a cue precisely.
There's no hard limit in the tool itself, but practically, playback smoothness depends on your device and connection — most people get good results with two to six videos.
This is almost always caused by a video whose owner has disabled embedding, or a temporary YouTube API hiccup. Try a different source video, or reload the page.
Yes — the audio button on each tile makes that video's sound the only one playing, which is the easiest way to sync by ear before pressing play on the group.
No. The video IDs and their offsets are encoded directly into the link's address. Anyone who opens it gets the same group rebuilt in their own browser — nothing is saved on our end.
Yes, the layout adjusts to smaller screens, though syncing multiple videos by ear is easier with headphones and a larger screen.
No. MultiViewSync is an independent tool that uses YouTube's public player, and is not endorsed by or affiliated with YouTube.
The tool is a small set of files that can be hosted anywhere that runs PHP. Branding, SEO details and ads are controlled from the admin panel.
